Yuer App Privacy Policy

Updated October 5, 2026. Covers Yuer on iPhone, its companion Apple Watch app, widgets and these dedicated support pages. It includes features in the 1.2 candidate, such as sleep records; availability depends on your installed version. Developer: Qin Pengbo.

Information you choose to enter

Yuer is for adult caregivers. It has no developer account, children's social service or medical advice. A guardian or authorized caregiver should manage the baby's information and enter only what is needed. Children's information and care records may be sensitive personal information.

You may enter a nickname, birth date, birthday calendar and milestones, selected and cropped photos, feeding times and amounts, feeding type, nursing side and duration, diaper type and time, sleep start and end times, notes, and display, unit and reminder preferences. These support records, statistics, age, widgets and reminders. The system photo picker provides only photos you select. Record IDs, revisions, deletion markers and device sync identifiers support storage, deduplication and conflict resolution.

Storage and Apple services

Records are saved locally first. Paired iPhone and Watch apps exchange records, settings and purchase entitlement state through Apple WatchConnectivity. Widgets and Live Activities use local shared data. Photos and care status may appear on the lock screen, Dynamic Island or Watch; manage system display permissions as appropriate.

When iCloud is available, the phone syncs through Apple CloudKit in your Apple account's private database. JSON backups may also be saved in your iCloud Drive; automatic backup can be disabled in backup settings, and manual backups are available. Backups may include photos, records, revisions and deletion markers. Apple's services and regional storage/transfer arrangements depend on your settings and Apple's policies. Data is not always confined to your device.

The developer operates no server or administration portal for receiving or reading these private care records. They are not uploaded to linghe.live or the original EGRETIVA support website. Offline records remain local until sync resumes. Sync is not a separate archive of every historical version.

Purchases, permissions and diagnostics

Apple StoreKit handles trials and purchases. The app verifies Apple transactions and stores necessary entitlement, trial-expiry and verification state for access and the paired Watch. The developer does not receive payment-card details. The current one-time trial does not automatically charge; a lifetime purchase requires confirmation in Apple's purchase interface. Prices are those shown by the store.

System permissions and settings govern notifications and Live Activities. Denying notifications does not prevent manual recording. The app does not access HealthKit, contacts, microphone or location, use advertising or analytics SDKs, automatically upload telemetry, track for advertising or sell your information.

Diagnostics are generated only on request. They include app/OS versions, language, storage/pairing status, pending-sync counts and notification configuration, not the baby's identity, photos, care entries, account details or file paths. A recipient receives them only when you choose to share; review before sending.

Deletion, backups and security

You can edit or delete records in History. Deletions need to sync to other devices. Revisions and deletion markers may remain to prevent older records from reappearing; deleting is not an immediate physical erasure of every historical copy. Existing backups are separate snapshots and are not rewritten or automatically removed after an in-app deletion. Manage old files and Recently Deleted in Files. Uninstalling does not automatically remove iCloud, system-backup or other-device copies.

JSON backups have integrity checks but no additional file encryption by the app; anyone holding a file may read it. Protect your devices, Apple account and backup locations. Do not publicly share children's photos or complete backups. There is no one-step erasure of all copies, and the developer cannot access your private iCloud database on your behalf.

Support, website visits and your requests

If you contact support, the developer receives the email address, messages and attachments you send to respond and troubleshoot, retaining them as needed for that purpose. The support mailbox uses Gmail and your own email provider also handles the message. Do not send full care records, photos, backups, passwords or verification codes.

These are static pages without accounts, upload forms, advertising or visitor-analytics scripts. Hosting and network infrastructure process connection details such as IP addresses and requests for HTTPS access and security; they do not obtain care records from the app. The separate website privacy notice covers visits.
